Watching movies: cinema or streaming at home?

There has never been more to watch, and never more ways to watch it. The question is where you enjoy a film the most.

The cinema is an event. The big screen, the booming sound and a hall full of people laughing or gasping together create a feeling that is hard to recreate at home. For big releases, many people still believe a film is meant to be seen first in a theatre.

Streaming wins on comfort and cost. You can watch whenever you like, pause for chai, rewind a scene and choose from thousands of films and series without leaving the sofa. For families, one subscription can cost less than a single trip to the cinema with snacks.

Some people do both: they save the cinema for special films and stream everything else.
