Weekend breakfast is a serious matter on both sides of the Atlantic, and two classics often go head to head.
The full English is a plate built for a hungry morning: eggs, bacon, sausages, beans, grilled tomato, mushrooms and toast, often with black pudding or hash browns. It is the go-to cure after a late night and a fixture of cafes across the UK.
American pancakes are a different kind of treat. Fluffy, thick and stacked high, they come with maple syrup, butter, berries or crispy bacon on the side. Diners across the US serve them all day, and they are a favourite for family brunches.
Some people prefer something lighter, like avocado toast or a simple bowl of granola, and wonder why anyone would eat so much before noon.
If you could only have one this weekend, which would it be? Vote and see what everyone else is ordering.
